The Pure Michigan commercial for Grand Rapids is making its debut this morning. The commercial will air on 10 networks for three weeks.

Mainstreet.com put Grand Rapids on it's list of "America's Dying Cities" earlier this year. Grand Rapids residents responded with this "American Pie" lib dub. Just another wonderful example of Michigan residents and their ability to show everyone that we are far from dead. We're very much alive.

Enjoy a homemade music video featuring Grand Rapids

Some ambitious Michigander took the Red Hot Chili Peppers song, "Especially in Michigan," and footage shot around Grand Rapids and created this really neat music video. The video is right around four minutes long and is basically a virtual tour of Grand Rapids with music. Pretty neat!
