On June 6, 1944 the Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France. The invasion of France was the beginning of the liberation of France and the rest of Europe from the control of Hitler's Nazi Germany. .
Thank a veteran today for the sacrifice they made for our country and the free world.
