Great list of Southeast Michigan businesses to check out

I found this recommendation via CharlieCurve on Twitter this afternoon. It's a list of personal recommendations of southeast Michigan businesses at the Motor City Connect forums. There is a lot of neat stuff that, being a southwest Michigan resident, I had no idea existed. For instance, did you know you can get a belt made from a genuine Cadillac seatbelt?
Also, there is a store called Mezzanine that, while similar to Ikea, has much higher quality wares for sale (think - no particle board furniture).
It's a really neat conversation over at Motor City Connect that makes me wonder if there are other conversations going on across the entire state.
