Today, September 22, at 5:18pm (to be exact) fall officially begins and summer draws to an end. Even though 2009 was the summer that really wasn't summer I still look forward to, and enjoy, the fall. It's a great time for taking hikes and enjoying the beautiful fall colors in Michigan. Take a 'Deep Breath' and enjoy the changing of the seasons with the latest Pure Michigan commercial.
Thought I would share this lovely photo of Michigan Fall Colors on this, the last Friday of summer. Yep, fall officially begins September 22nd. I love these vibrant reds against the green. Plus, the reflection really pops with the red. Just gorgeous.

Longtime Tigers radio broadcaster and Baseball Hall Of Fame legend Ernie Harwell is to be honored by the team tonight. Ernie Harwell recently revealed that he has incurable cancer and there has been an outpouring of love and support from fans both young and old. I think it's great (and long overdue) for the Tigers to pay tribute to a real gentleman. Emotions will be running high in the ballpark tonight.
